Cobblestone Park is an inner city pocket park designed to afford flexible, useable and stimulating space that caters to a broad range of contemporary users and age groups.

Project Objectives

  • Provide an attractive park that meets the needs of a growing residential population, neighbouring institutions and local business.
  • Improve public amenity
  • Improve safety
  • Improve access and connectivity

Key Features

  • The design defines a new model for the site, a series of urban terraces each offering a distinct experience but providing plenty of opportunity to overlap and interact with activity on adjacent terraces.
  • The ensemble of park terraces is bound together within a framework of re-defined pedestrian circulation, and purpose built park furniture.
