Strategy Courtyard

Summary:

The strategy courtyard is an internal courtyard set inside Strategy Advertising and Design, Christchurch. The courtyard is a box within a box. Designed to be a place of solace that provides a tonic to the fast paced, high octane workplace. A space of minimal artifice an architectural motif, a clean rectilinear geometry articulating the main elements: a water feature; timber deck; timber seat; and sunken lawns of schleranthus and camomile. The external spaces compliment the architectural forms of the building whilst providing a serenity and calm that counters the activity within.

The courtyard was unfortunately destroyed by the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.
